Week 2...

This week flew by! I hope to get out and visit some of the tourism spots in Sturgeon County this coming week, as well as start up the local food portion of this blog :)

First Week

The first week was a whirlwind - I am loving it. I will be primarily helping with the Canada Day event for the first couple of months, which I am very excited about. It is a Sturgeon County Bounty Taste Event showcasing local producers and dishes made from their products at the Edmonton Garrison. Lots to do!

Scavenger Hunt

Today we had our scavenger hunt, which was a great experience full of information, and a fun way to spend a Tuesday! The highlight of my day was getting a tour of the newly restored Bailey Theatre in Camrose with one of the other interns :). It is a beautiful space and I am excited to see what happens with it's reintroduction to the community.
